Welcome to our list of the top 20 Best Quality-of-Life Mods for Stardew Valley. Whether you’re looking for a new feature, or just want more control over your game experience, these mods are perfect for all players.

The “stardew valley mods” are a collection of quality-of-life changes for the game, that were created by the community. These mods range from small tweaks to large overhauls.

The game Stardew Valley is fantastic.

When you’ve played it for a long time, though, it might get tiresome.

You can only smash so many slimes or plow so many locations until you wish there was an automated method to accomplish things.

Please add your name to this list!

We’ve compiled a list of Quality of Life mods (in no particular order) that improve Pelican Town’s quality of life through automation, small switches, or new gameplay mechanics.

1. Yellow Stardew Isn’t As Expensive As It Used To Be

A Less Yellow Stardew / Stardew Valley Mod

A little visual adjustment may sometimes make all the difference.

This patch improves the aesthetic of Pelican Town by removing some of the yellow tones and making the outdoors seem more attractive and bright. It’ll give the game a fresh vibe!

What a transformation.

2. Menu of CJB Cheats

CJB Cheats Menu / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Have you ever wished to get away with anything in Stardew Valley?

What if I told you it was quite simple?

This mod just adds a menu where you can choose the cheats you wish to employ by checking the boxes.

Is it possible to kill someone with one hit? Is it possible to have the best luck every day?

There are also money adders that are completely free!

I mean, who says you can’t get the backpack upgrade on day one?

3. Look Anything Up

Look Up Anything / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

This is a fantastic mod.

By hitting F1, you may seek up information on anything that is currently beneath your cursor, such as:

  • Hearts
  • Every day presents
  • How long will it take for a crop to be harvested?
  • Anything goes!

This mod is very useful if you farm a lot since it shows the amount of time it takes to gather crops.

You can simply leave it if you know you’re expecting for more rain and just need one more day of watering before the season ends – no need to get out the inconvenient watering can!

4. Make the process more automated

Automate / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Instead than hanging about waiting, I wish you could set up a quantity of ore to be smelted.

With the Automate mod, you can now.

Simply set a chest next to a furnace, and it will generate ingot after ingot using the raw materials. This isn’t simply a problem with furnaces, though!

Other crafting devices, such as the recycle machine, are also compatible.

That’s what I mean when I say “convenience.”

5. Tractor Modification

Tractor / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

I’m amazed this option was never included in the original game.

It’s a tractor mod, as the name suggests. As a result, your farmer can simply buy a tractor to ride around in and make their life easier.

It’s a nice little gadget that makes plowing, harvesting, and traveling about the farm go faster.

6. Taste Assistant

Gift Taste Helper / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

If you’re anything like me, you play Stardew Valley while simultaneously browsing the wiki.

Of course, I’ve remembered a few presents, but do you think I’ll be able to remember everything?

With this useful mod, you won’t have to!

When you hover over each character on the calendar, it will simply list their favorite presents.

There will be no more switching displays. It’s all about sheer, unadulterated convenience here.

7. Elevator in Skull Cavern

Skull Cavern Elevator / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

I must be a newbie since I can’t figure out how folks get to level 100 in the Skull Cavern without utilizing the stairwells.

Those small flying snakes have a way of catching me off guard!

This mod adds an elevator to the cavern, much as there is one in the mines.

It’s a brilliant feature that helps you save a lot of time. So, even if you’re not as into gritty adventure as some others, it’s worth a download.

8. CJB Item Sell Price Display

CJB Show Item Sell Price / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

It’s inconvenient to have to sell your belongings in order to find out how much they’re worth.

When you hover over an item in your inventory, this useful mod displays the sale price. Neato!

9. Anywhere Chests

Chests Anywhere / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Okay, this is also a really useful mod that enables you to access all storage containers from any location.

Yes, you can go anyplace.

If you’re out foraging or mining and you’ve run out of inventory space, this is a lifesaver.

Simply transfer it to a farm chest, and you’ll be set to go!

10. Improved Ranching

Better Ranching / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Don’t you hate it when you want to milk a cow and you have to click through a notice page that says you’ve already milked that cow?

With this handy tweak, you can eliminate the guessing!

It notifies you when animals are ready to harvest their goods in the same way that other items, like as the preserves barrel or the wine cask, do.

It also eliminates any botched milking or shearing efforts!

11. Gates that open automatically

Automatic Gates / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

I understand that the name suggests a simple mod, and it is.

However, it is quite beneficial.

I’m referring to automated gates. Is there anything more I can say?

No more fiddling with buttons in the hopes of closing them before one of your hens escapes. No more!

12. Have a wonderful birthday!

Happy Birthday / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Why shouldn’t the farmer have a birthday like everyone else in Pelican Town?

Come on, we do so much for the rest of the world!

Even the Harvest Moon games allow you to choose a birthdate (maybe a true crossover is in need…)

This mod lets you to give the player character in Stardew a birthday. Have a wonderful day! You’ll get letters from your parents and birthday presents from your pals.

Friendship Is Forever

Friends Forever / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Stardew Valley’s friendships are notoriously fickle.

Why do I have to offer so many gifts, after all? That isn’t how it works in real life.

Well, with this mod, the friendship level will not decline if you don’t have any presents to offer (or if you neglect your friends for a while).

I wish you could mod pals in real life as well…

14. A Basic Crop Label

Simple Crop Label / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

It’s quite inconvenient when I forget what I’ve planted there.

So many of the seeds seem to be the same!

This mod allows you to view what you’ve planted just by hovering your cursor over it. It’s so handy.

I’d call this an enhancement in quality of life.

15. Increased Backpack Size

Bigger Backpack / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

It makes no difference to me how many improvements the canon game has:

There will always be an insufficient number of bag slots.

This mod, on the other hand, gets a bit closer, with a total of 48.

For those of you counting at home, that’s one additional row. If you’re anything like me (i.e., a complete pack mule), this is certainly a useful little tweak to have.

Note that if you want additional QoL backpack choices, we have another list devoted to inventory-focused modifications.

16. Increase the number of rings you wear

Wear More Rings / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

I have 10 fingers and toes.

I understand that not everyone does, but the majority of people do.

At least one ring can be worn on each of my fingers. Thus, who’s with me so far?

My farmer may wear two rings at the same time. I’m sure the lady doesn’t have two fingers because she’s a farmer, and such instruments demand a strong grasp.

So, why am I unable to wear additional rings?

This mod, on the other hand, allows you to wear more. You’re free to go now.

Minigame: Skip Fishing

Skip Fishing Minigame / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

I despise the fishing minigame!

Every time, I get griefed.

Take a look at this mod, which completely eliminates the fishing game, whether you’re weary of it or simply awful at it.

You may now automatically pull the device up when you attach it.

That, without a doubt, enhances MY quality of life.

No Fence Decay (No Fence Decay) (No Fence Decay)

No Fence Decay / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

I just cannot be bothered with repairing fences in Stardew.

Fences don’t degrade so quickly in real life, so why should they have to in a game that is supposed to be relaxing?

The “No Fence Decay” mod prevents fences from decaying at all, which is, honestly, a lot nicer.

Stone, after all, shouldn’t degrade — it’s stone!

Expanded Stardew Valley (1999)

Stardew Valley Expanded Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

So, just to be clear, this isn’t an easy mod.

This is a large Stardew Valley fan-made expansion pack.

It contains a lot of information, such as:

  • Two new farm maps (Grandpa’s Farm & Immersive Farm 2 Remastered)
  • There are a slew of new questlines to try out.
  • There’s a lot of fresh dialogue.
  • Vanilla sections have been remade.
  • 50 new zones
  • There are now 27 new NPCs in the game.
  • And there’s a lot more!

This is a massive undertaking.

It has to be at least as huge as the original game, if not greater.

So, if you’re looking for something fresh for a modernized Stardew, look no further – because it’s right here, buddy!

Expansion of Friendly Dialogue 20.

Friendly Dialogue Expansion / Stardew Valley Mod

Take a Look At This Mod

Why do we play Stardew Valley in the first place?

It’s not dissimilar to other agricultural simulators on the market. It’s monotonous, and the visuals aren’t that impressive.

So, what’s the solution?

In my view, we play for the characters because we get connected to them.

It’s also discouraging when we reach the end of what they have to say and they begin to repeat themselves.

This hack significantly expands the speech lines across 34 different characters, giving your game a new lease of life.

The “stardew valley quality mod” is a list of the top 20 best quality of life mods for Stardew Valley. These mods add new features and content to the game, such as expanded inventory, new crops, and more.
