A guide to help you find all the locations of bat fangs in FFXIV. These items are used for crafting more powerful equipment, and they can be found by “fishing” at various points around Eorzea.
The “ffxiv marbled eye mining location” is a guide that covers locations and farming tips for the FFXIV Bat Fang. It also includes information on where to buy and sell it.
A number of bat-like enemies may drop bat fangs throughout the game. The Cave Bats discovered in the Blind Iron Mines in Lower La Noscea are one of the earliest potential encounters with one of these groups (X:25.9 Y:15.3).
Cave Bats are undoubtedly the best place to farm Bat Fangs, but we’ll provide a more comprehensive list of all bat-type monsters below.
Bat fangs may also be earned via retainer endeavors, desynthesis, or by buying them from NPC merchants, particularly these two:
- Aistan – Guild of Goldsmiths (X:10.6, Y:13.2)
- Alchemists’ Guild – Esmenet (X:9.0, Y:13.6)
If you have some spare time and want to save gil, hunting the monsters yourself is your best choice.

Obtaining Bat Fangs from Non-Playable Characters
Aistan and Esmenet are NPCs that sell bat fangs for 25 gil apiece in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal.
Aistan may be found in the Guild of Goldsmiths (X:10.6, Y:13.2) Esmenet is a member of the Alchemists’ Guild (X:9.0, Y:13.6)
Merchant NPCs such as the Namazu Material Supplier and the Allagan Resupply Node, in addition to these two merchants, may be put inside player homes. Bat fangs are also available for 25 gil from these vendors.
And there’s another sort of NPC that may furnish you with these fangs: those who work for you!
Your retainers, like many other equipment in the game, may be sent out to harvest these fangs for you.
The 18-hour Level 5 Field Exploration Venture has a possibility of yielding bat fangs, although this item is not guaranteed.
Field exploration expeditions are typically offered to retainers to help them level up by providing a significant increase in experience points. Also, waiting 18 hours for your NPC friend to return is a long time.
It will be more effective to send retainers on Hunting Exploration Ventures since you may pick the precise item you want them to farm and bring back. Your retainer must be at least level 10 in a Disciple of War or Magic class to use bat fangs.
Depending on your retainer level, Hunting Exploration Ventures might take anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes to finish.
The number of items they bring back is also determined by their item level (ilvl), which may vary from 5 to 15.

However, keep in mind that desynthesis outcomes are unpredictable and may not always provide the thing you’re seeking for.
So, if you truly want to farm more fangs, your best options are to purchase them or go after drops.
